The harsh economic situation in Nigeria is making people to indulge in criminal acts just to ensure that they survive.
A true live story was told of a man who stopped by a newspaper stand to buy some dailies. After requesting for two newspapers and the vendor brought it to him in his car, he stretched forth #400 to pay for it. Before the vendor could collect the money, a man from nowhere suddenly snatched the money from the man who was buying the newspaper and he said " My family is dying of starvation and you even have enough that you are buying two newspaper at once"
It is funny but on a serious mood people are not finding it easy. The economic situation is making people do unthinkable things. May Almighty God get us out of this quagmire.
It is so sad that a country blessed with innumerable resources has regressed instead of developing. Thanks to bad governance, corruption and lack of progressive government. The divide between the rich and poor is so wide. Sad that people are still dying of hunger.
