MY HUSBAND HAD A SPECIAL CANE FOR ME IN THOSE DAYS.

Dear Nonye,  my name is Felicia. I find it strange to see women complaining these days about their husbands, while actually they are enjoying their marriage. In our time, a wife was treated like a house maid. The only thing that distinguished her with a maid is that she was  producing children for her husband. The husband can come home and start beating the wife for no reason. . I remember that in the early years of our marriage , my husband had a special Cain for me. He will lock the room and start to beat me with the Cain .  An d I dare not fight back. I will be telling him " my master forgive me " and upon that , my husband will give me a fine of one whole chicken which I will prepare for only him to eat everything .  Women of these generation are very lucky. My husband is now 69 while I am 59. He will look at me and ask me to forgive him for beating me.
